OVERVIEW

Growing Chefs (GC)is a non-profit organization that aims to educate children, families, and community members about healthy eating and healthy food systems. GC teaches kids about healthy food and healthy food systems by putting chef volunteers into elementary schools. Many kids are unaware of where their food comes from and how their food choices affect their health, their community, and the environment. The value of the website to its users is that more kids will receive hands-on education on healthy food and healthy food systems. The current website is quite old and outdated; it needs a fresh redesign and clean up of information architecture.
